Who needs viziSafe software, and why do they need it?

IT Administrators and network owners need viziSafe software because often they don’t really know what’s happening on their corporate networks. viziSafe software acts as an early warning system, capturing, recording, and analyzing all user electronic activity. viziSafe is IT Insurance that uncovers and identifies: unsanctioned electronic use, security breaches, operational inefficiencies, and compliance failures.

What types of devices does viziSafe run on?

viziSafe runs on PCs, macs, laptops, and servers. The viziSafe recorder (agent) runs on the following operating systems: all editions of Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Mac OS X v 10.6, and Mac OS X v 10.5. Macs with Intel processors only.

What is Freemium software?

Freemium software is software that can be downloaded and used for free, and offers considerable benefit and value. viziSafe is Freemium software.
Upon purchasing licenses of the full-access version of Freemium software, customers gain additional functionality. This is true with viziSafe; upon upgrading to the Premium version of viziSafe, customers receive access to the prior 14 days of detailed user activity data, in addition to gaining full functionality and data analysis going forward.

What are the differences between the Freemium version of viziSafe and the the Premium version of viziSafe?

1. Administrators only have access to the web filtering and web blocking functions of viziSafe in the Premium version of the product.
2. The Freemium version of viziSafe only runs on SQL Express. Upon paying and upgrading to the the Premium version of viziSafe, a full SQL Server database can be used.
3. Three Server-side events alerts are available, and enabled, in the Freemium version of viziSafe: Webmail messages, Social Networking Sites, and Game Programs.
4. If the Freemium version of viziSafe is monitoring from 2 thru 1000 users, the user names and user computers are “anonymized”. When customers upgrade to the Premium version of viziSafe, they get access to the prior 14 days of detailed data, in addition to full viziSafe functionality, going forward.

How much data does viziSafe save, and is the data secure?

The Freemium version of viziSafe runs on SQL Express and saves up to 14 days of detailed data for up to 1000 monitored users. The data is saved in a secure, encrypted fashion on local servers. Upon upgrading to the Premium version of viziSafe, Admins can migrate to full SQL Server and save as much data as required, per the limitations of their disk space.
